In-law Indeed Endeared
My son, become so through my daughter's love,
fixed there in thoughts and prayers from then on,
know that ever, when push comes to shove,
you're dear as ever were a bloodline son.
Where you have walked the burning coals of pain,
a prayer for you is uttered in my heart.
When joy and satisfaction their place gain,
appreciation's glow its rays impart.
Just remember, though miles come between,
and often months divide together times,
you're loved whether or not you're seen,
I wish more often than I say in rhyme.
