Sunday and Every Day

Put on nylons, best shoes, dresses; it's the Lord's day;
let our voices raise in praise once more.
With attitudes as well as tresses, that say,
"Father God and His Son, Jesus, we adore."

And through the week, in work clothes, do we praise Him?
Are our lives a tribute to His love?
In solitude or busy streets, devotion raise Him,
Who can show His will, empower from above.

Our God, Who desires our love and endeavor,
to be in His presence as we are,
Let us seek our gracious Sovereign, ever,
direct our paths and be our guiding star.
