For a Worthwhile Message

I'm demanding, "Head , awake,
and show me what is in there.
I have challenging steps to take,
a battle, hope to win there."

I need to overcome the bent,
to take the easy way out,
to grasp on to the wisdom sent,
allow the effort pay out.

So, Lord wake up my mind today;
my heart bring into action.
Cause me to venture in a way,
that brings to You attraction.

The words that You would have me share,
experience's recollection,
conveying, there are those who care,
bring love's healing connection.
