Constructing in Love

If building, stitch on stitch, expresses love,
or building, brick on brick says steadfastness,
our hands and the heartfelt results thereof ,
are meaningful as ever one could guess.

So, let us stitch and say, in effort, build;
in what we see and hear and use, a trace,
thoughtfulness and usefulness, so filled,
it lights the object of affection's face.

As building, stitching, forming usefully,
contribute to the good of everyone,
a statement, then, of love may lasting be,
long after dusk has brought the setting sun.
